Does Medtec hold its resale value?
Medtec Ambulances are rarely available for resale. The durability and reliability of our rigs allow our customers to keep Medtec ambulances to their full life expectancy. Therefore, it is difficult to assess resale value on a Medtec. However, if you are in the market for a used ambulance, check the Internet or trade magazines for prices.
Are Medtec ambulances subject to independent or third-party testing?
To maintain compliance with the requirements of the Federal Ambulance Specification KKK-A-1822, Ford QVM Program and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, Medtec utilizes the services of established third-party testing facilities to certify product compliance. Additionally, Medtec uses local specialized test facilities and Certified Professional Engineers to document any testing required for specific new product development or product improvement projects. It is Medtec’s goal to reduce or eliminate any safety or design risks for our customers.
